Gita Gili Bungalow

Close to beach, nice bathroom

The room spelled real bad, acknowledged by owner but full so couldn't swap, door lock was also very sticky and hard to operate, breakfast was average-asked for avocado on toast and got poached egg with tiny bit of avocado!?

Very nice staff, chill pool, nice room with a terrace and a hammock. I really enjoyed my stay. Nice breakfast also.

The electric keeper going off so that means no AC and it was very hot

Property is located close to beach. Although, staff worked fast to get me another room when I complained about the bad state of the first room, However, second room was as bad if not worse. I had to leave to a different hotel before stay was over with no refund

Facility is old and dirty. Toilet/bathroom stinks and toilet bowl is brown and in other cases flushing system gets stuck and doesnt work. Mosquito net is dirty, fan is dirty and no place to hang your clothes. I dont recommend this place and you can get much better places on the island for the same price or less

They didn’t helpMe change the dates of my booking, just wanted to swap one day and did not help meAt all, charging me for the extra day that I didn’t stay, even thought I contacted them 4 days before asking for help to change it. They said they didn’t have availability for the day I wanted to change; and I found out that they did have space.

The staff here is one of the best. Super helpful, always friendly, and you always get a smile, especially from Livi and Indra. I had the best time here

DONT GO THERE IF YOU A SOLO TRAVEL LADY , and if you don’t just avoid it , owener will scam you id a thief and a miserab

The light in the bathroom was faulty, there were old dead bugs on top of the mosquito net, the soap dispenser didn’t work ?

The room I stayed in needs a big renovation. So dirty and old. I could not close the door to the bathroom (outside) so I had to put a table to block it. The hammock was also broken so they changed it. It’s like they don’t look after this room at all or deep-check it before some new guest arrive. Also no cleaning at all during the stay.

I could not stay here long term for sure. 2 nights was enough. Location is perfect. Snorkeling just outside the place.

One of the best places we have stayed during our travels! The staff were so kind and helpful, great free breakfast on the beach, pool was huge and well maintained, room was clean and equipped with a bug net. Location was sweet, able to walk around anywhere from there. We booked a snorkel trip with the front desk and had such a great full day experience! Would 10/10 come back again! Nothing negative to say!

We had a really good time at Gita gili bungalow. The bungalows are simple but you have everything you need. The pool is great and the people very nice. Gili air is a small island - so you can walk from Gita Gili everywhere you want to go. Thank you Gita Gili for a great stay at Gili Air.

Great location and value for money I was very well taken care of.

They didn’t serve alcohol but they were fine with me purchasing my own wine and drinking it there, so it actually worked out well for me.

I loved Gita Gili Bungalows. Dewi the reception lady was wonderful and so friendly. She kept a suit case in storage for me when I travelled. It's right next to the beach so easy access to snorkeling. Bikes for rent. Also perfectly situated between many restaurants and a 24h shop. The gardens are pretty and the pool is great and it's quite despite being next to the beach road. I loved it so much I'm returning. See you soon Dewi x

Nothing negative.

I loved the receptionist (office manager) who works at the front desk and deals with all of the admin & reservations. She is incredibly helpful and such a good human in general. I will miss her!I loved the location and the Bungalows. They are directly in front of the water with access to snorkel at any time, there are turtles swimming by the shore! You can hire gear if you don't bring your own. The breakfast is ok and they a variety of choices. I absolutely love that the island is cat friendly but this hotel is super nice to the local cats and often feed them so they do not go hungry. The staff are super helpful for any trips or tours and any unfortunate events. Often in rain season there are blackouts but the staff are prepared to improvise light with candles.
